Nigeria develops one of Africa's biggest space programmes

Nigeria is running one of Africa's biggest space programmes in a bid to combat flooding, urban overcrowding and desertification.

Data collected from satellite images assists the government as it shapes policies which help ensure food security for a rapidly expanding population.
