Fighting crime with art in South Africa

Culture is not the first thing that springs to mind when people in South Africa talk of about Diepsloot township.

As one of Johannesburg's largest informal settlements, it is more often thought of as a hotbed of crime, not a hive of cultural activity.

But a recent initiative to bring art to the streets could change this, as Diepsloot Arts and Culture Network member Lucky Nkali explains.
