South Africa government denies rift over Mandela visits

The South African government has denied some media reports in South Africa that Mr Mandela's relatives have stopped anyone outside the family from visiting him in hospital.

Officials have said that Nelson Mandela remains in "a serious, but stable" condition.

The former president, who is 94-years-old, was rushed to hospital in Pretoria in the early hours of Saturday with a recurring lung infection.

Karen Allen reports from South Africa.
