Nelson Mandela's grandson thanks well-wishers for prayers

Nelson Mandela's grandson, Mandla Mandela, has thanked South Africans and people around the world who have prayed for his grandfather and sent messages of support.

He said the family was also grateful of support from the presidency and the ANC-led government.

The 94 year old is spending his fifth day in a Pretoria hospital suffering from a recurrent lung infection.
