Zimbabweans in South Africa return home to vote

Zimbabweans go to the polls on Wednesday in presidential and parliamentary elections.

The 89-year-old president Robert Mugabe, who has ruled the country since independence in 1980, is seeking another five-year term.

His main challenger is Morgan Tsvangirai, the current prime minister.

Many of those voting are Zimbabweans who moved to neighbouring South Africa as their own country teetered on economic collapse.

Mark Lowen went to meet some in Johannesburg as they prepared to make the long trip home.
