Mali election: Votes counted in Keita v Cisse run-off

Votes are being counted in Mali's run-off election to decide who will be the country's next president.

Ex-Prime Minister Ibrahim Boubacar Keita, who won 40% in the first round, faced ex-Finance Minister Soumaila Cisse. The result is expected by Friday.

The election follows more than a year of turmoil which included a coup and a French-led military intervention against Islamist and Tuareg rebels.

Tim Allman reports.
