Kenya's Westgate siege mother and children 'played dead'

A mother and daughter, Faith and Sy Wambua, who were caught up in a siege in Nairobi's Westgate shopping centre, have been describing how they survived their terrifying ordeal.

Faith Wambua was in the mall with Sy, nine, and her 21-month-old son Ty when the attack happened.

Faith spent four-and-a-half hours ''playing dead'' on the floor while protecting her children, before they were all finally rescued by a Kenyan policeman.
