Humanitarian fears amid CAR turmoil
The Central African Republic (CAR) is descending into "complete chaos", the United Nations deputy secretary general has warned as he called for urgent action.
Jan Eliasson urged the UN Security Council to strengthen the African Union-led force in the country, and to turn it into a UN peacekeeping operation.
Meanwhile, the humanitarian situation in the country, where some 460,000 people are though to have fled, remains desperate, as Damian Zane reports.
