'Incredibly moving' when Mandela wore Springbok jersey

When Nelson Mandela became South Africa's first black president, he set himself one task above all others - to reconcile black and white South Africans after centuries of racial division.

Throughout his presidency he used a sporting arena to unite his young nation, never more so than when South Africa reached the final of the 1995 Rugby World Cup.

Nelson Mandela walked into the stadium wearing the Springbok jersey, which was once a hated symbol of white supremacy.

In a fairytale ending, captain Francois Pienaar's men won that game.
