South African prisoners use music to fight violence

South African prisons are notoriously tough and some continue to have problems with gang violence and drug smuggling but there are facilities which are trying unique approaches to rehabilitation.

One such place is Groot Drakenstein Prison in the Western Cape province, famous for being the prison where Nelson Mandela took his steps to freedom.
