Libya 'destroys all chemical weapons'

Libya has destroyed all its chemical arsenal, Foreign Minister Mohamed Abdelaziz has announced.

Tripoli committed itself to getting rid of all its chemical arms in 2004, signing the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC).

The Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) described the announcement as "a significant milestone".
