UN concern over Boko Haram attack

UN human rights chief Navi Pillay has condemned a daylight attack on a military barracks in the city of Maiduguri, in northern Nigeria on Friday.

The Boko Haram, who have killed 500 people this year, are thought to be responsible for the attack.

Mrs Pillay said said Boko Haram's activities were '"atrocious" and "monstrous".
