Oscar Pistorius accused of 'tailoring evidence'

South African athlete Oscar Pistorius has been "tailoring his evidence" at his murder trial, the prosecutor has said on the fourth day of his cross-examination.

"Your version of events is untrue," said prosecutor Gerrie Nel.

He also pointed to forensic evidence that showed Ms Steenkamp had eaten within a couple of hours of her death.

Mr Pistorius admits killing his girlfriend in February last year, but says he fired his gun after mistaking her for an intruder.

Andrew Harding reports.
