Nigeria's teachers strike over kidnappings and killings

Teachers in Nigeria have held a nationwide strike in support of more than 200 schoolgirls seized by the Islamist group Boko Haram last month.

Teaching unions said they were also striking to remember the 173 teachers killed by militants.

It follows two days of bloody attacks in the country, in which nearly 150 people have been killed.

The BBC's Will Ross spoke to some of the striking teachers who criticised the government for not doing enough.
