Nigeria 'not losing Boko Haram battle,' says president's adviser

The Islamist group Boko Haram has been accused of killing at least 27 people in attacks on two villages in north-east Nigeria, close to where hundreds of schoolgirls were seized.

Nigeria's president has condemned twin bombings in the central city of Jos, in which at least 118 people were killed.

Funmi Iyanda, a Nigerian talk show host and Doyin Okupe, senior special adviser to the President of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan, debated the handling of Boko Haram on BBC Focus on Africa with Peter Okwoche.
