UK ban on drug khat worries Kenya growers
A ban comes into force in the UK on Tuesday on the drug, khat, that is traditionally used by Ethiopian, Kenyan, Somali and Yemeni communities.
The British government says outlawing khat brings the UK into line with other European countries where it is a controlled substance.
However in Kenya's khat-growing Meru region, there is concern about the economic impact of the ban.
