Nigerian shopping centre rocked by explosion
At least 21 people have been killed in an explosion at a busy shopping centre in the Nigerian capital, Abuja.
The explosion was in the Wuse district, near the popular Banex plaza shopping complex, and could be heard from miles away.
The BBC's Bashir Sa'ad Abdullahi in Abuja says no-one has claimed responsibility for the attack so far but that suspicion has fallen on the Islamist militant group Boko Haram, which has bombed targets across northern Nigeria in recent years.
