Nigeria: Boko Haram fighters 'tricked villagers'

Dozens of people have been killed in attacks on villages in Borno State by Boko Haram.

The village of Attagara was worst hit. On Sunday at least nine people died when the church there was attacked.

People from the village went after Boko Haram and reportedly killed some of their fighters, but on Tuesday Boko Haram returned to Attagara to punish the village.

Peter Biye is the Member of the House of Representatives for Gwoza, where the attacks happened.

He spoke to the BBC's Will Ross in Abuja about the latest attack.
