Catholic Africa - in 60 seconds

Roman Catholic Church leaders from around the world are meeting for two weeks in Rome to discuss how to better present their teachings on marriage, family life and sexuality to their flock.

While the Catholic community is dwindling in some parts of the world, it is actually growing in Africa, with nearly 200 million devotees.

BBC Africa looks at the importance of Catholicism on the continent - in 60 seconds.
