Baby elephant rescued from well in Kenya

An elephant calf has been air rescued after he fell down a well in the remote region of Milgis Lugga in Northern Kenya.

After Local scouts were unsuccessful in reuniting the elephant baby, named Wass, with his herd, they called the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust who airlift the animal to safety.

Two ostrich chicks were also rescued and all three were taken to the Elephant and Rhino Orphanage in Nairobi National Park where they are all being cared for.
