Boko Haram militants 'seize Nigerian town of Chibok'

Boko Haram militants have seized the north-eastern Nigerian town of Chibok, the home of more than 200 schoolgirls whom the insurgents kidnapped in April.

The fighters have repeatedly targeted villages around Chibok, in Borno state, over recent months.

They say their aim is to create an Islamic state in Nigeria. The BBC's Will Ross reports from Lagos.
