Mugabe confirmed as Zanu-PF candidate for 2018 election

Zimbabwe's ruling party has confirmed Robert Mugabe as their candidate for the 2018 presidential election.

The incumbent president has been leader of the African country since 1980.

Mr Mugabe's wife also became head of the Zanu-PF women's league.
