Kenya student: 'They were shooting randomly'

Gunmen from the militant Islamist group al-Shabab have reportedly killed up to 70 people at a university in north-eastern Kenya.

The Kenyan Interior Ministry also said four of the attackers at the Garissa University College campus had been killed.

They said security forces were now in the process of clearing the area.

One student, Augustine Alanga, described the attackers as "shooting randomly" inside the university complex.
