Nairobi: Outrage in Eastleigh over money-transfer freeze

Kenyan authorities have suspended the licences of 13 money transfer firms believed to be involved in funding al-Shabab.

They have frozen the accounts of 86 individuals in response to the Garissa university attack last week.

This will affect many Somalis who rely on remittances sent by relatives living abroad.
