Sudan election: Early reports suggest low turnout
In Sudan, early reports indicate that voter turnout has been low, on the first of three days of presidential and parliamentary elections.
Most of the opposition parties are boycotting the vote, saying they do not think it will be a free and fair process.
That means incumbent Omar al-Bashir will almost certainly stay in power.
