Ebola crisis: Sierra Leone President Koroma thanks 'hero' UK medics

The UK's response to the Ebola epidemic was key to ending the outbreak in Sierra Leone, the country's president has claimed.

Ernest Bai Koroma said the response was slow, but when it came it helped turn the outbreak around. Almost 4,000 people died from the virus.

The president spoke to the BBC's Global Health Correspondent Tulip Mazumdar as his country was declared Ebola-free.
