Mali hotel attack: France taking all steps to solve crisis

Malian special forces have entered the Radisson Blu Hotel in Mali's capital, Bamako, to end a siege by gunmen who had been holding 170 people hostage.

The French Foreign Minister, Laurent Fabius, said France was doing everything possible to ensure the safety of its nationals caught up in the incident.

Speaking during a visit to India, he said a crisis unit had been set up and the situation was being monitored.
