A Boko Haram ghost town stuck in time

The Islamist militant group Boko Haram controlled Bama for seven months before it was retaken by the Nigerian military in March 2015.

But it seems to be frozen in time – still deserted. Those people who remain in the area are camped in the grounds of Bama’s hospital in dire humanitarian need. The BBC's Martin Patience takes a tour of the town.
