The lions that aren't allowed in the wild

The lions, called José and Liso, were rescued from a circus in Peru by Animal Defence International (ADI) and flown to Emoya Big Cat Sanctuary in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Circuses are a very popular vehicle for trafficking animals across borders.
