India: Report alleges illegal iron ore mining in Goa

Another huge corruption scandal is looming in India over its mining industry.

Exports of iron ore have been stopped in the state of Karnataka, amid allegations that corrupt officials allowed widespread illegal mining.

A government inquiry is looking into claims of even more serious violations by iron ore producers in the tourist paradise of Goa.
