Sacked China workers hold factory protest

China's manufacturing activity fell to a 32-month low in November, hurt by a slowdown in the global economy.

Meanwhile there seems to be a growing sense of disquiet among young workers, as their employees implement moves to try and deal with the slump in orders.

On Friday hundreds of redundant factory staff gathered Friday outside the Shanghai factory of Hi-P, a Singaporean supplier to major consumer electronics companies such as Motorola and HP.
