London 2012: Afghan female boxer Rahimi hopes to compete at Olympics

Afghan female boxer Sadaf Rahimi is hoping to compete in the inaugural women's boxing tournament at the Olympics.

Under Taliban rule, women in Afghanistan were forbidden from participating in any sports.

But a decade later Sadaf hopes to represent her country and has been preparing at a training camp at Cardiff University.

Michael Buchanan's report on Sadaf Rahimi is broadcast on PM on BBC Radio 4 at 1700 GMT on Friday 9 March 2012.
