China's poor use single TV to debate Premier Wen Jiabao
China's Premier Wen Jiabao has delivered a strong warning about the ''urgent'' need for reforms, without which, he said, tragedies such as the Cultural Revolution could still happen.
He was speaking after his last National People's Congress news conference, and said he may invite some of his critics for face-to-face talks.
Some of those critics - also among China's poor - had gathered from all over the country to watch the event on a single television set in Beijing, from where Damian Grammaticas reports.
