Kachin refugees in Burma struggle for independence

Ethnic Kachin people in Burma have been struggling for independence and the right to their own language and religion for more than half a century.

Recent political changes in Burma could pave the way for democratic change for some, but for most refugees living in camps in the so-called Kachin State, the fight continues.
