Hong Kong TV crew's car stopped in activist Chen's village

Hong Kong Cable TV has released video of one of its reporters apparently being stopped while trying to visit Chinese dissident Chen Guangcheng's home village.

The footage, filmed on Saturday, shows a group of men in plain clothes stopping the car near Dongshigu in Shandong Province.

Mr Chen, in hospital in Beijing, escaped house arrest last week, and spent six days in the US embassy before emerging on Wednesday.

He says he has been unable to meet US officials to discuss his desire to leave the country.
