Aung San Suu Kyi addresses migrant workers in Thailand

Aung San Suu Kyi has given an address to Burmese migrants during her visit to Thailand.

Large crowds gathered as the democracy leader promised to "try my best" to help those stuck within the country.

An estimated 130,000 Burmese refugees live in camps in Thailand, with many others living throughout the region having fled persecution at home.

Ms Suu Kyi's visit to Thailand is her first trip abroad in 24 years, having spent years either detained, or in fear that if she left Burma she would not be able to return.
