Malala's father: She will 'rise again'

The father of Malala Yousufzai, who the Taliban in Pakistan tried to murder for promoting the right of girls to go school, has spoken of the "miracle" of her survival and said her attack was a "turning point" for the stand against terrorism in his country.

Ziauddin Yousufzai said she would "rise again" to pursue her dreams after hospital treatment.

Her doctor at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham says she is likely to make a full recovery.
