Nine girls killed in Afghanistan landmine blast

Nine young girls have been killed by a landmine in Afghanistan.

Officials say the children were collecting firewood near their village when the mine was triggered.

Three other children were injured in the explosion in the eastern province of Nanga-har, as Orla Guerin reports.
