India PM: Country needs 'vast improvements' on women's safety

The Indian Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh, says his country has "vast improvements" to make on women's safety.

His comments come after more protests in Delhi following the abduction and rape of a five-year-old girl in the capital, with the authorities accused of failing to adequately protect women and children.
