Former PM Nawaz Sharif set for victory in Pakistan

The former prime minister of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif, has declared victory in the country's election.

Unofficial results suggest his Muslim League will be the biggest party but will need to form a coalition.

The turnout was huge but the poll was marred by violence.

In Karachi, the Pakistan Taliban said they planted a bomb which killed 11 people and wounded 40 others.
