Pakistan voters celebrate as Sharif looks set to win

Pakistan's former Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif, is widely considered to have won the country's general election.

Unofficial results suggest his Muslim League will be the biggest party but he will still need to form a coalition.

The party with the second largest number of votes is led by former cricket star Imran Khan.

He has welcomed the high turnout saying it is a step forward for democracy in Pakistan but says the news of vote rigging is disappointing.

Mike Wooldridge reports from Islamabad.
