Indian cricketers arrested over spot-fixing allegations

S Sreesanth is one of three Indian cricketers from the Rajasthan Royals to team have been arrested over allegations of spot-fixing in the Indian Premier League.

The team said it had "a zero-tolerance approach", and India's cricket board suspended the players.

Fast bowler Sreesanth has represented India in many international games. His family has vprotested his innocence.

"I am sure that he will never do such a thing. He's a very good boy", his mother Savitri Devi told the BBC Hindi service.
