Suicide attack at Kabul Supreme Court kills 16
At least 16 people have been killed by a suicide attack in front of the Supreme Court in the Afghan capital, Kabul, according to local police.
Officials say more than 40 others were injured at the scene. Parts of the city's diplomatic area have been cordoned off.
The attack comes just a day after a group of Taliban insurgents launched a complex attack against Kabul international airport.
The Taliban have told the BBC they carried out the attack.
