Pakistan welcomes first combat-ready female fighter pilot

The Pakistan Air Force has welcomed its first combat-ready female fighter pilot.

Ayesha Farooq is one of 19 female pilots in the force but the only one currently qualified to go to war.

For much of its history, the Pakistan Air Force has been dominated by males.
