Floods destroy parts of Sichuan province in China

Torrential rain and landslides in western China have left more than 200 people dead or missing in recent days, state media and the government said.

Floodwaters surging through Sichuan province have swept away bridges, houses and hillsides.

It is the worst flooding in 50 years in some areas, with more than 100,000 people forced to leave their homes.
