Baby rescued after 'hero' grandmother dies saving her

A woman, who was killed in a landslide in China, has been hailed as "a hero" for saving her granddaughter's life when their family home collapsed.

Pan Guofeng died from her injures after she used her body to protect 15-month-old, Wei, from falling rocks and debris.

Rescuers in Xingwen county later heard the girl's cries and were able to use pickaxes and machinery to free her from the rubble.
