Malaysian restaurant hires armed guard

A series of armed robberies and high profile shootings in Malaysia has caused many people across the country to turn to self-protection.

Last month, an anti-crime activist and a prominent banker were shot within the same week and there is a growing anger that the government has not been able to reduce crime.

One seafood restaurant in Kuala Lumpur has even hired an armed guard to patrol outside, as Jennifer Pak reports.
