Dennis Rodman: 'Kim Jong-un is a friend for life'

Former basketball star Dennis Rodman has hurled abuse at reporters, as he angrily rejected calls to lobby for the release of an American detained in North Korea.

Rodman had been to the country for a second time this year to meet leader Kim Jong-un.

Speaking to reporters, he said: "He's my friend for life - I don't care what you guys think about him."

Martine Dennis reports.
