The extravagant lifestyles of alleged corrupt members of the Communist Party are said to have enraged the Chinese public after being exposed by those who claim to be their mistresses.

The most high-profile case is that of Ji Yingnan, a mistress who claims to have shamed her former lover in the full glare of China's hundreds of millions of microblog users.
