Australia wildfires: Firefighter's house destroyed

Bush fires in Australia, described as the worst in a decade, have already destroyed hundreds of homes.

The worst affected areas are the Blue Mountains west of Sydney.

Firefighter Tim Boxwell lives in the town of Winmalee and he told Newshour on the BBC World Service that his own house was destroyed by the wildfires as he was out fighting the fires nearby.
